The **Intervention and Coiled Tubing Association (ICoTA)** has officially re-established its China Chapter, marking a major step forward in the organization's global expansion and commitment to advancing well intervention and coiled tubing technologies.
The relaunch aims to create a vital platform for professional networking and knowledge exchange in the Asia-Pacific region. With China representing one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing markets for well intervention, the renewed presence of ICoTA is set to play a key role in shaping the industry's future.

Supporting China's Rapid Growth
Industry data reveals that the Chinese market saw approximately **12,000 coiled tubing operations** in 2024. Organizations such as CNPC Engineering Technology R&D Company and Jianghan Machinery Institute have taken the lead in forming the Coiled Tubing Technical Committee under the China Petroleum Society.

International Symposium in Wuhan
The **International Symposium on Coiled Tubing Technology** will be held in Wuhan, China, from **May 28 to 30, 2025**. This landmark event will gather leading experts, service companies, and operators including PetroChina, Sinopec, and CNOOC.
