The Drilling Fluids Lab is a specialized facility dedicated to the analysis, formulation, and testing of drilling fluids used in oil and gas exploration. Our lab ensures optimal performance by evaluating rheological properties, filtration control, density, and chemical stability under various well conditions. Equipped with state-of-the-art instruments, we conduct comprehensive testing to enhance drilling efficiency, reduce formation damage, and ensure environmental compliance. Our team of experts provides customized solutions to meet the unique challenges of drilling operations, supporting both research and field applications.

Slake Durability Apparatus

- Disintegration Resistance Test Equipment is used to determine the disintegration resistance of shale and similar soft rocks.

- In the test, samples are alternately tumbled in mesh drums through a water medium and oven-dried for two cycles.

- The percent loss of mass is referred to as the Slake Durability Index.
